The question is too broad and the code doesn't help.

Do you want to know how to page through "subfiles" using PHP?

Or do you want to know how to map XML in PHP?

Or ... ?

Perhaps if you would try to tell us what task you are trying to perform we could offer better suggestions. Is the data in XML? A database? Or do you want to have a multi-line data entry system?
