AS/Set Messaging

Hopefully this is an easy one.

We are experiencing some probs with messages delivered to AS/Set generated
applications.  We are an AS/400 shop (V3R7) on BPCS 4.0 migrating to 4.05CD
using AS/Set version 6.   When the application encounters a legitimate
error, the message 'subfile record not found' is displayed and the user is
forced to page down to see the correct message.

We have regenerated both the program and CLMSG program.  What makes the
subfile message occur?
