[C400-L] cpynv() function ...

Hi all, 
i've a question .. is someone who has used this MI cpynv() function to 
convert integer to decimal ? i try do this but unsuccessfully ... im on 
V5R2 in i still have problems with programs wich are using Decimal. 
for example it doesn't work something like this: 

        _Decimal(5,0) dec = 0; 

and on V4R5 (or if i compile it to V4R5) it's working ?! some ideas ?! 
please help ...
