CPYNV is not necessary to handle decimal data types. The following works at
440:
#include <decimal.h>
int main ( void )
{
_Decimal(5,0) dec = 0;
return(0);;
}
Since you say it works on 450 also (and when TGTRLS is 450) then it sounds
like a defect and should be reported to IBM as an APAR -- unless it is a
limitation of the wonderful new PASE compilers. What happens with
TGTRLS(V5R1M0)?
