An example of  qualifying filed names and MOVE CORRESPONDING:

WORKING-STORAGE SECTION.
01  DATE-1.
          05 YEAR               PIC 99.
          05 MONTH           PIC 99.
          05  DAY                 PIC 99.
01  DATE-2.
          05 DAY                  PIC 99.
          05 MONTH           PIC 99.
          05 YEAR               PIC 99.
PROCEDURE DIVISION.
          ACCEPT DATE-1 from DATE.
    *  Convert the  YYMMDD-date to DDMMYY-format:
          MOVE CORR DATE-1 TO DATE-2.
          DISPLAY DAY IN DATE-2.
          DISPLAY  MONTH IN DATE-2.
          etc.
