Keith, you said you configured a new server, but is it the only server on
the 400? And if you check the details on port 1352 is the qnotes user
profile doing the listening?
If you have more then one server on the 400 you'll need the IBM Redbook
SG24-5181. See chapter 2 since all the servers need to bind to specific IP
addresses. Being able to resolve the name and address does not guarantee
mail flow or connection to databases. Hope this helps.

Jeff,

The port is in a listen state on the 400, any other ideas?

         Keith,

For Domino you need Port 1352 Open all the way from your
workstation to your server. This is the usual error..

             Jeff Silberberg..

I have just configured a new Domino400 server on my AS/400 and I am
having an error when trying to connect to the server which says
'Unable to find connection to server'. I can ping to the server name
or the TCP/IP address of the server from the client workstation
without any problems and I have added both the name and TCP/IP to the
host file on my workstation. Does anyone have any ideas of where I
should look next in order to resolve this error? Thanks a bunch.
