David,

You could try entering 'dbcache flush' at the console

Ok, this is in addition to my previous question...

Is there a way, within Domino, to cause a database to be unavailable?

I've determined that Domino will release it's lock on a database file (in
the IFS) about 20 minutes after the file has been closed by clients & the
designer. Is there a way to make that happen faster?

Thanks!

david
