Subject: Notes question

This question is not on Domino per se, but the Notes client. I'm
evaluating Notes as a PIM right now with the intent of someday using
Domino throughout our company. If it's too far astray from the list
topic, just say so.

I'm a Notes newbie. How do I mark a reminder/appointment/meeting on the
calendar as 'complete' or 'done'? I can do this for a to do item, but
not other stuff.

The only thing I've been able to find is to right click the item, then
Clear. But that removes it from the calendar completely. There must be a
way to mark the item done, yet leave it on the calendar for history.

I searched the Notes/Domino Gold Release forum but found nothing. I
posted a message there last Friday, but no one responded (and there have
been hundreds of posts since then).

What am I missing? This seems like such an obvious thing to have, but I
sure can't find it.

Thanks.
