Walter, I looked at IBM's website on DB2 Connect and don't see anything about connecting the iSeries to the SQL server? What I looked at doesnt run on the 400. Is it possible you can post a website link that explains this? There is a product call DB2 Connect. (sorry it is chargable) This product allows the iSeries to communicate with an SQL server. DECS could then be used. Another solution would be to request the data via the XML if you are running R510.
