That's the sole reason that our 840 is currently lpared. We had to have
this one domino server running R5. (IBM limitation.) Now that it's
lpared, we may find other uses for lpar.

Re: Multiple Domino Servers on an AS/400

Just to clarify, We currently have a R5 server on our Test AS/400 and want
to add an R6 server. Is that a feasible option. I am reading this
Redbook
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpieces/pdfs/sg246940.pdf and it looks like
it is not.

Thanks,

Dave,
Domino 5 requires you install Advanced Services. (An optional
install of 5769LNT).
Running Domino 5 or 6, when you configure a server you must select the
option Partition.
If you already have a server configured, end it and issue a CHGDOMSVR
adding Partition.

Of course you must have a system able to support the workload of
addtional servers.
We have many customers running as many as 25 Domino Servers on a single
LPAR.

I believe it is possible to have multiple Domino Servers on one AS/400. Is
there anything special that needs to be done?
