I think I know why it's doing it, he isn't using the meta tags to refresh,
he's got a javascript function that does a reload of that page from the
main page - which is The main page is refreshing the hidden page, sending
the focus there.

I think he got stuck on how to make the page refresh itself, with the main
page updating how long to wait, instead of the other way around.

I'll have to find time and revisit this technique soon, and I'll let you
know.

of the refresh page? Would it help at all?
