Hi Doug,

What you could do is use a separate utility to POP the mail and send it on
to your mail box on the server instead. That way the mail rules would work.
I have a simple freeware utility for that purpose if you need it. I didn't
make it, and don't take any responsibility for it, but I often use it.

Chris,

You are right, I forgot that the rules are server based, the mails shows
up in my regular in box, not the folder I want them in. Notes is a
regular client to the Domino server on the 400 and a POP client to my
other mail account on another server, Apache I think. Moving them to
another file is not a big deal, but would clean things up a bit. Any
ideas would be appreciated.

Doug

Are you using Notes as a POP client? Remember that your mail rules are
server-based and are performed as mail arrives in your mail file on the
server. Using rules in the client won't work in a POP setting (at least
they didn't work in the past...)
