We did ours entirely based on the information in the redbooks.

However, we did it very slowly -- other projects and issues (that is,
non-Domino-related) caused a nearly five-month delay between upgrading
server and upgrading clients. Cool thing was that when I upgraded the
server from 5.0.8 to 6.0.2CF1 (telling no one but IT personnel), several
people made a point of complimenting me on whatever I'd done because the
server response times had noticeably improved. They didn't know what I'd
done, but they were sure something had changed for the better. Most things
I do behind the scenes are never noticed, so that was a pleasant surprise.

I should note that we are not running any additional server applications --
just a single vanilla Domino server running mail and a handful of small
Domino applications.

Where is the best documentation on how to upgrade from 5.x to 6.5.2? Also,
any tidbits of advice from those of you have done it? All of my previous
'updates' have been at the .x level which are absolute no brainers.
