Re: Upgrade from 5.x to 6.5.2

We recently upgraded from 5.x  to 6.x and here are some keys that should
help:

1. Notes 6 mail template is considerably larger than the R5 mail template,
be sure that disk space is not an issue!
      - more than double the size from 6MB to 13MB per user

2. Verify that all mail files are on the Notes 6 ODS, prior to running the
Covert task to upgrade the mail templates.

3. This covert task seemed to work the best when upgrading the mail
templates --> Load Convert  -u mail/*.nsf * mail6.ntf; view domino help for
more info on the convert and the parameters.

4. If on an ISeries box, be sure to have the proper version of Java and the
PTF's as specified in the Domino server upgrade instructions.

5. The best documentation I found was the IBM redbook --> "Upgrading to
Lotus Notes and Domino 6.

6. Set up a test box and test, test, test those apps.
