Thanks Chris and Rob for your input . I am trying the native logging
routine that Rob suggested. Speaking of logging, How bout for capturing
copes of email for possible legal issue. Is journaling the best way to go?
What 3rd party programs are good for search capabilities,
archiving,logging, etc. ?

Mike, I tested out the product from Snapps (?). When I first tested it
after going to Rob's session at AdvisorLive last year it didn't work too
well on the iSeries. But they took care of it and I was able to get a
great trial going. It logged chats well and you could configure it to only
log certain chats as well. It worked really well in my testing but we
decided to not pursue a chat logging application for the time being. We're
apparently not as big-brotherish as some employees would make it out to
be!

Last time I got a pricing on it, Rob said:

"$5k which is just over the Win32 pricing. Includes maintenance (all
upgrades, tech support) for 1 year, then renewable (optional) at 30%."

Also, like Gregg said, there are some native tools but I think you have to
program the API, etc... I will forward you offline an example of the chat
logs that I had sent to my boss.
