Hi All,
I was hoping for a little help...

I need to upgrade to 6.5.4 from 6.5.0 on our iSeries V5R2. Now I've done
the upgrades before but they were the incremental and way back when... Now
IBM is having you do the upgrades via the wizard. Problem is that our
server is in one location and I'm in another and I don't have the CD's. I
don't want to do the wizard as it will take a lot of time to transfer the
over 1 gig file. I would like to ftp (at night) and do the upgrade via
green screen like before. I've looked at the help, browsed the IBM site,
but nothing about how to do the upgrade via FTP.

I've outlined what I think are the steps but I'm not sure about the steps
or the OPTIONS (is 11 correct or is it 14?).
This is just a straight forward upgrade for all 4 servers, no LEI, no
Quickplace, no Sametime..

Step 1 - Create a save file on the iSeries server
        CRTSAVF FILE(QGPL/QNOTES)
        CRTSAVF FILE(QGPL/QNOTESAP)
        CRTSAVF FILE(QGPL/QNOTESRL)

Step 2 - Use the Save Licensed Program (SAVLICPGM):
        savlicpgm licpgm(5733L65) dev(*savf) savf(QGPL/QNOTES)
        savlicpgm licpgm(5733L65) dev(*savf) savf(QGPL/QNOTESAP)
        savlicpgm licpgm(5733L65) dev(*savf) savf(QGPL/QNOTESRL)

Step 3 - Transfer the binary save file from the PC to the iSeries server.

Step 4 - End any active Domino Servers
        WRKDOMSVR

Step 5 - Access the remote system and use the Restore Licensed Program
(RSTLICPGM):
        rstlicpgm licpgm(5733L65) dev(*savf) option(*base)
savf(QGPL/qnotes)
        rstlicpgm licpgm(5733L65) dev(*savf) option(1) savf(QGPL/qnotesap)

        rstlicpgm licpgm(5733L65) dev(*savf) option(11)
savf(QGPL/qnotesrl) <--------- IS THIS option 11 correct? or is it 14??

Step 6 - To confirm that the increment for the *BASE option of Domino for
iSeries 6.5.4 and all installed options were updated correctly use the
command:
        chkprdopt prdid(5733L65)
It should return with a "No errors detected by CHKPRDOPT."
message.

Step 7 - Upgrading existing Domino Server
        UPDDOMSVR SERVER(server-name)

You may now restart any Domino servers.

Thank you for your time and help,
Scott
