Chris, 

We did some significant TCP/IP tuning on our iSeries boxes last year to 
compensate for hung connections, retransmissions etc.
We had AT&T and IBM in here for a consulting gig to look at our 
"networking issues". I have changed many settings in TCPIP and the way the 
Lines
are configured. 

When you do a NETSTAT Option 3 do you show allot of closed or fin wait 2 
connections on port 1352? 

Example for NRPC:   172.28.211.29    1352       7994       005:30:56 
Closed 

Example for HTTP:     192.168.65.100   18427      www-http   000:00:00 
FIN-wait-1 

Can you give me an idea of the PC builds used, and what your networking is 
like?

Are you using a packet shaper?
