The filename on the iSeries should begin with nsd and have a .nsd file extension. The file is in EBCDIC format, but you can set iSeries Navigator to convert it to ascii text by right-clicking the Integrated File Systems folder / choose Properties / add .nsd as a file extension for automatic text conversion.
