smency>12GB in size

I just noticed that at least one of our smency files is over 12GB in size. 
 It has 285 documents.  We only keep 3 pattern files and 2 engines.  I 
wonder if it is only smart enough to clear them out of the IFS and not out 
of this file.

That was just one of them.  Here's a list of all of them on all dpars on
