It doesn't have to be much - just depends on how many attachments you will
be converting. I had a Pentium II machine running it one time with no
issues because we rarely had meetings...

If you have a P3 or P4 lying around with 256MB you would probably be ok if
it is dedicated to this.

The following is from my 2006 Lotusphere presentation:

Windows Sametime Attachment Conversion server
Windows 2000 (Pro/Server) or Windows XP (Pro)
Install Sametime Attachment Conversion Services software
Do not install the following applications:
Lotus Domino
Lotus Notes
Lotus Sametime
Lotus Quickplace

On iSeries, Edit meetingserver.ini file:
[SOFTWARE\Lotus\Sametime\MeetingServer\ConversionServices]
AttachmentConversionServerTimeout=120
AttachmentConversionServerCompressionEnabled=1
NumberOfAttachmentConversionServers=0
AttachmentConversionServer1=1.1.1.1:19610
AttachmentConversionServer2=2.2.2.2:19610

IBM Technote 1088127

To save attachments: OS/400 V5R2 or later - PASE, (5722SS1, option 33)

Upgrading to latest and greatest sametime. What are the system
requirements for the Sametime Conversion Services PC?
This worthless document

http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/sametime/sysreq.html#attachment
has:
Sametime Conversion Server Requirements
Sametime Conversion Services supports automatic conversion of documents
for display in the Slides section of a meeting. This function requires
installation of a Sametime component on a Windows system. For more
information, refer to the Lotus Sametime 7.5 Administrator's Guide
(sthelpad.pdf or sthelpad.nsf) which is included with the product and is

also available in the online Lotus Sametime Documentation Library.

That links to here,
http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/notesua.nsf/find/sametime
which eventually drills down to
http://www.lotus.com/ldd/doc/sametime/7.5/sthelpad.nsf
That doesn't tell you either.
