Good question - I didn't think so because of how I interpreted it.

It seems that you have to related a Notes Network Port (client?) to your
Port that you defined in the NOTES.INI file. It does associate with a
net address but I thought this was for Notes to Domino functions (port
1352).

On Internet ports you specify that certain functions (HTTP, SMTP, LDAP)
are associated with what ports and whether or not they are active.

My interpretation but I could be all wrong....

My only problem is that while we do test with portal we are actually
testing to in production Domino applications. I might look at seeing if
I can have WPS test a portlet to our Dev/Test server and then I could
make the config. Change and see what happens.......

I've had a bad year with "Hey, let's try it and see what happens" change
control.....
