"According to Amy Hoerle at Common they are working on a fixpack to make
the index on Names.nsf work. I have not heard if the fixpack is out yet
maybe someone else on the list will know."

Thanks Bill - that's nice to know.

"I ran into something similar when I upgraded to Scan Mail 3.0. By
default
there is a notes ini setting SMSTOPMAIL=1 that prevents email
from being delivered. I changed the value to 0 and email began routing."

Brian - I just got off the phone with trend support. My re-install should
have worked with 3.0 and build 5316. For some reason it didn't like my
activation code during the install so I bypassed that and planned to
register it later. Since I wasn't registered, SMDreal never loaded and
when SMDreal is not active the mail gets held unless you misc settings of
the SM configdb and disable the option to "don't deliver when mail scan
task not running". Funny thing though was even after I uninstalled all of
SM they still wouldn't release. I had to rename my mailboxes and create
new ones and copy all the held mail into new mailboxes.

Rob - I recall seeing your email with the links to the fix packs and
stuff. TM assured me that the most recent versions work fine with 8.0.1.
I'll find out for sure tonight when I do the reinstall.

Thanks for all the input!

Regards, Jerry
