Only those servers running the same release as the fix pack need to be
ended for the install of the fix pack.

Applying Domino Fix Packs in a mixed release environment

In the documentation for applying fix packs there is a note that says
that all Domino servers should be down when you apply the fix pack.
I've been doing it that way since day one......and I mean all regardless
of release level.

I am wondering if you have to in a mixed release environment though.
Let's say I'm applying a fix pack to 7.0.3 and the only servers that are
running are 7.0.2. Do you need to shutdown the 7.0.2 servers or just
make sure you don't have a 7.0.3 server running?
