I just kept persisting with IBM on this one and eventually got it to work
(without forking over the 10G). Forget the actual issue. Small mention
in 10/27/06 midrange-l archive. It was one of those: 3576, SAN, TSM,
Linux guested on i type issues. About as all IBM as you can get.

Did have Carpenter send in a few consultants now and then on it:
P.F. Did the san switch. Once you go through it and play with the GUI
itself it's not too hard to figure out.
J.P. Helped us to figure out how to use the 3576 with standard backup
commands and not BRMS. Granted, every third sentence began with "Well,
with BRMS we would..." But we worked through it.
Someone else from there got TSM to work with it. That was the last call
he worked on before leaving them. Gee, are we that rough?

Figured you were looking at hardware. Got a new sysplan from him and
everywhere on it I see St. Gobain. But the serial numbers and
configuration match our stuff...
