I agree with Gregg about uninstalling the product. At a minimum, I would get the variable SMStopMail out of the server notes.ini when your license expires. If this variable is set, you will get zero mail delivery as everything backs up in mail.box files.

I also recommend the uninstall as that will eliminate the ScanMail jobs in the subsystem. Who wants jobs running that aren't doing anything.

Hopefully, there is some sort of "uninstaller" for ScanMail. However, the
only issue, I can think of, with not uninstalling the software would be
the daily messages from ScanMail that it couldn't update the signatures
due to expiration of the license. And those are either e-mails that go to
your Domino Admin or are on the console.
