I highly doubt that Traveler will be ported to the i. However, with 8.5.2,
IBM is supposed to have Traveler running on Linux. Perhaps this can be a
first step to them having it ported to other platforms such as p and i.

I haven't heard much about the Droid. You can currently buy an app ($10) to
make this work, and I understand IBM may be working on an app.
