I think that you could turn off the Router, have the mail-in database send
a message, and then examine the sender field. From there, you should be
able to create a "better" firewall rule. Turn the Router back on.

If that doesn't work, you may want to turn off the rules and create Agents
in the database. Using Agents, you have full control over the From and
Principal fields. Programmatically, you will be able to fool the
Barracuda.
