once upon a time there was an SMTP/MTA , that required this connection
document to route internet mail. (Pre Domino 5.0x)
I don't believe you would still need this document at all, but disabling
replication on the document is fine.

We have a connection document from one server to TheInternet.
Replication Routing
Replication task: Enabled Routing task: Mail Routing
Replicate databases of: Low & Medium & High priority Route at
once if: 1 messages pending
Replication type: Pull Push Routing cost: 1
Files/Directory paths to replicate: (all if none specified) Router
type: Push Only
02/01/2012 13:50:39 Unable to replicate with server TheInternet: Unable
to find path to server. Check that your network connection is working. If
you have a working connection, go to Preferences - Notes Ports and click
Trace to discover where it breaks down.
Should I turn Replication off for this and just leave Mail Routing in it?
