Walden, Given that the first possible use would be for a smaller group of internal users do you think that the browser and javascript requirements might be manageable? Any place that might quantify the support needs? Mike Thanks a bunch for the demo site! -----Original Message----- From: java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Walden H. If you don't mind those requirements then D&D works quite nicely. However, you are on the leading edge of browser support, so be warned. http://openrico.org/rico/demos.page has a couple of examples of drag and drop. -Walden -- Walden H Leverich III Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x3051 WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur. I wasn't involved in the meeting but our developers met with some Java 'experts' and their advice was to not use the DnD in a browser based app but only in a rich client situation. The reason I ask is this is one of the features that gets bopped around with some of the .net applications that we see. So, I want to see if people have used it, are using it, and for any reason would they not recommend it? Michael Crump Manager, Computing Services Saint-Gobain Containers 1509 S.
