Phil, Yes are correct. THis is a big job. Especially with COM. I did something 
like this in the old OE&I days. Something to watch out for is Dulicate customer 
no between the 2 companies. Might want to consider using offline load options 
where and when available.
And don't forget any side systems and custom code you may have.

My current thinking is that i will have to manually change the company 
number from 2 to 1 on _every_ file that has a company field on it......not 
a simple task.
