Actually, we get even fancier than DSM: when we get past the splash screen, our data screen is all UDDS.

At present, the splash screen goes up, and then, as soon as the data screen (or the Field Attributes screen, or even the Database Relations screen, if requested by the user in the *CMD parameters) is ready, it goes up.

Existing code snippets probably sometime after lunch.
