A few releases back on the AS400 (maybe even 38?), the chain would not
position the file using partial keys properly.  One day, IBM fixed this bug
without fanfare.  I did not see this fix or even read about.  One day I
purchased software that used chain and reade instead of setll and reade.  I
promptly called the programmer to inform him of his bug.  He replied, that
I was all wet.  I tested his programs and they worked fine.  He was right.
