This sort of harks back to Dave and Charlie's I disagree a little. I think that ITER and LEAVE are tools for use by guys who aren't used to writing code without GOTOs. Many of us who went through years of RPG II without any structured opcodes tended to write programs in a fashion that made structured coding look stupid. Once in the habit of using structured opcodes for a few years, it is amazing how much changes in the _way_ you write your programs. The same thing happens if you code for a while without branching. You just code in a fashion that doesn't lead to horrible IFs. > Dean Asmussen Chris Rehm Mr.AS400@ibm.net You have to ask yourself, "How often can I afford to be unexpectedly out of business?"
