Bob, Oh my goodness, I had forgotten about that old Q38-BBS. That 8088 PC was given to a relative with the condition that he give it back when he could afford a PC of his own. Well about a year passed and he bought one and I ask for the old system back. He looked a me with a big question mark on his face and said "why would you want that thing back? As it turned out he sold it for $200 to a guy he worked with and use that cash along with his new credit card to buy a brand new 486 (at the time it was new). I was bummed. ;( From: Bob Larkin [SMTP:blarkin@wt.net] What about shareware? I personally have paid for shareware that I use. Would any shop consider small "token" payments for utilities and their source code? Just a thought. BTW - Bob, THose Q38 days were GREAT. Remember the late nights BBSing on old 8088 PCs? * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the Midrange System Mailing List!
