Mark and Hans, You know what I would like, is to use array syntax for multi occurrence date structures. Then you'd also have to add qualified names. Something like this: C if myDs(1) = MyDs(2) C ... do whatever... C endif For qualified names in multi occurrence DS: C eval myDs(3).CustNo = myDs(x+2).CustNo Of course, this means, that the following would now be valid in RPG IV: C if CustInfo.CustNo = PrevInfo.CustNo Hence, qualified names, and duplicate subfield names (as long as they're in different DS) are valid.
