Hi Tim, >I am from the S36 world and I design my S36 SDA screens where the first >screen to be output to the screen would do the initial key/record >summoning, framing, titles and command key legend at the bottom, it >would specify a start line of 01 with a lines to clear of 24. The first >screen would completely refresh the screen. The second screen would >place itself within the screen 1 framing, it would specify start line of >say 06 with a lines to clear of maybe 10. >What keywords in AS400 screen design for display files would I look >for? Today I found the OVERLAY and the KEEP keywords but I was unable >to get them to do this function. >Thanks in advance for any advice. The easiest way for you to create a working DDS equivalent would be to create a 36EE (FORMAT) screen and view the generated DDS. I think (it's been a while since I've looked at that code) it ends up in QTEMP/QS36DDSSRC. I HTH. -mark * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This is the Midrange System Mailing List!
