Just a guess, but could this be due to your table cell defaulting to a
proportional font? Or are you possibly not ending each line of output
with a 'break' tag <BR> (forcing a newline?) IIRC, without a <BR> or
<P> tag, the text simply flows together.
If you're not already, you might try wrapping your imported data with
the 'preformatted' tags... <PRE>

</PRE>
