Thanks, will have to look for that article. Would like to see STRISDB allow a fully qualified job name, even one on hold. Wouldn't have to change the CL _or_ hunt through a _very_ long *SELECT list on a large system. It's quicker and easier to debug complex batch stream looking at source in ISDB than repeatedly typing ADDBKP, RMVBKP, ADDPGM, CHGDBG, DSPPGMVAR, CHGPGMVAR referring to a listing or another session. This makes changing a copy of the CL worth it as a workaround. When forced to use STRDBG, duplicating cmds to shorter names like DPV and CPV helps a bit.
