EBCDIC to ASCII conversion table

Marc,

There is no one EBCDIC to ASCII conversion table, rather there are
hundreds (a rough estimate, I didn't bother counting them).  Some
conversion tables are supplied with OS/400 and are listed (by name)
in the International Application Development manual.  You can display
these tables current values by way of WRKTBL *ALL (and ignore the
Sort Sequence tables).  You can also create your own tables.

Other tables are provided for functions such as Workstation Customization
(and are described in the Workstation Customization Function Programmer's
Guide).  These tables can be accessed by RTVWSCST and then modified.

Also some high level languages allow for code point conversion through
devices such as file specifications and or translation oriented operation
codes.  RPG, for instance, provides this type of support independent of
OS/400 code point conversion facilities.

Hopefully one of the above will assist you in finding/defining the
necessary EBCDIC to ASCII conversion table for your needs.
