        WHile you cant find another father, you can find another job.  You have
two options, Educate your Dad that this is a real problem that can halt
the company from operating, or GET OUT NOW before your ass is so far in
the fire, you will end up as burnt toast.  You may wish to talk with
Glenn Ericson, he has given some very enlightening Y2K talks, and he may
be able to provide you with some info for dad.
