Marc:

The DTM segment does include an optional element for century (at 3010 or 3020).
Best advice (which you have no doubt already received) is to work with your
trading partner(s). They will have the same issues you do concerning Y2k.

Subject: EDI and Year 2000

Hello,

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

I was looking at the EDI formats we use and noticed that the
dates are 6 digits (using Premenos). Will the standard EDI
transactions be changing for year 2000? Or, will we need to
add the century for whatever we receive?

Have a Happy New Year,
Marc Zylka ( mzylka@netpath.net )
