RPG Programmer Certification

Following the Fall COMMON, there was some discussion concerning a new 
certification that IBM was giving for RPG. There was a web site and I have 
visited that to see what was there. I reviewed the test questions so I know 
what the questions should be like. A couple of things not mentioned is cost, 
time to take it and the approx number of questions. Do you have to schedule the 
test before COMMON or can you just walk in and take it? There was also some 
comments on the difficulty of the test. Are there many people who have taken 
and passed this certification? Has anybody even cared that you took it? Sooner 
or later the pendulum will swing back and the job market will favor the 
employers. I would imagine that certification will be more noticeable then.
