You might want to take a look at the AS/400 Redbook on security. It
makes several suggestions on securing the AS/400 in any environment. I
think a good firewall product is important to put between the Internet
and your internal network. At the present time passwords go in the clear
over the Internet when you log onto your AS/400. You might want to
consider a security product for the AS/400.

Be aware that the hacker community is aware of the AS/400 and regularly
publishes and posts information about it. Check out the latest edition
of 2600 in your local bookstore!
