I looked too, to try to do some learning and practicing.  What I found out
is the hardware is cheap.  The software is only available from IBM and
their pricing is punitive to get the equipment into the junk yard.  I also
inquired if it was ok to "lease" the software from the original buyer for
$1/year and the responses were vague, with a lot of hemming, hawing, and
looking at their shoes.
