I beg to differ (more) noble Sir (than I)!

I think that IBM propagates lots of IBM bullshit at IBM Tech Conferences.

When I said V3R1 sucked at COMMON's Soundoff, there were very few IBMers
who would agree with me. It took six months of user's screaming for Bob
Dies to show up at COMMON in Chicago and apologize for V3R1. And for
years, IBM told me that the only viable graphical client was OS/2. Then
again, they told me about SOM and DSOM. (Boy I'm glad that I didn't learn
that stuff.) And then, what about Ultimedia Graphics?

With all due respect, I think that several of the newer initiatives are
somewhat more viable (Java, Lotus Domino, NT on the IPCS, but I'm not
betting the farm on any of them.
