Dean: The Windows terminal program would work as a VT100 emulation connected from the PCs serial comm port to a port on the ASCII WSC (or protocol converter) that is configured to emulate a VT100 terminal. (VT100 is not the only emulation that works, but is probably the most used. When you config the ASCII port you have to specify VT100 for the emulation type, if use the value of *CALC only IBM terminal emulations are recognized. (ie 3164, 3151, 5250). HTH.
