Dear all, I am trying to get SLIP working on a 9401-P03 running V3R2, cumulative pack C97231, talking to a laptop running Windows 95, but with no success. I have followed the instructions in the TCP/IP manual from the AS/400 manual web server. The machine running token ring. The TCP/IP configuration is: Token Ring LAN 192.168.5.13, Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Default route 192.168.5.1 SLIP Configuration: Local Address: 192.168.35.13 Remote Address: 192.168.35.200 MTU is 576 Autocreate CTLDs and DEVDs is 'Y' Modem Profile is $generic Hayes No scripting is in use IP Datagram forwarding is on On the laptop, I can dial into my ISP using SLIP without any problems. However, when connected, PINGing between the AS/400 and the PC results in no PONGs back. If use the same IP address for SLIP and the TRN interface, with Proxy ARP on, there is no appreciable difference.
