Some of my customers have production machines that have no SEU, no RPG compiler to save the $20k license fee (620) When a CL pgm crashes and they need an emergency fix, CPYF the member to a "flat" file, DFU the flat file, CPYF it back and compile it. It would take maybe 10 minutes to write a "cheap" editor to load that flat file into a subfile and wrap a CL program to do the CPYF's for those "emergency" times when you can't start the machine and need to fix QSTRUP on a green screen... Let the "old timers" keep SEU if they want, but don't sell it on new releases. Code/400 will sell itself.
