Already did. But no messages yet...

Thanks for your support... gee I need all the support I can get with this
fabulous product which came on six scrambled 6250bpi tapes. I think my
problem is that communication type entry missing in STRCODE. I sent a fax
message to 1-800-288-9584 describing the problem. The support line people told
me that is my best bet and they are supposed to answer within 2 days whether
the problem needs a PTF or some fix. Will keep you all appraised. I hate to
be so negative to start with, but when you have deadlines to meet and a
stubborn product which doesnt work after following the instructions to the t,
you have to scream to people like the listers for sympathy...

You are right. MS is equally crappy in their non-support. That is why I
subscribe to the Windows 95 Give-And-Take List <WIN95-L@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM>
Great resource for the little annoyancs. One thing I wish IBM did is open
their knowledge base like MS has done. Maybe IBM can sell a IBMSDK (like MSDN)
subscription and make money!

Yup. But the STRCODE in my V3R2 is looking for an SNA device (and I will
probably capitulate and use NS/Router in a couple of weeks if I cant get this
solved) and so ignores my TCP/IP name. I also ordered SF46857, SF46849,
SF46688 which will be arriving on tape soon. I also ordered SF43366 (service
pack #4) which downloaded a dozen other ptfs automatically and only two loaded
and applied.

Are you kidding? Chalk this one for experience... :-) Hey I was one of the
first guys with their CA for Win/95 and those betas were actually alphas...
