Laura Having a library in front of QSYS is not a big problem. However, a software provider has to provide the ability to remove the objects in this library if the user desires by taking an option from a menu. The product still should be able to function, maybe not all functions but should give you the major portion. That should be documentated. I don't know what system state programs that are being shipped. However, I would worry about companies that take a program written by them and on the QT change it to a system state program and then change the program back to a user state program after they are finished. Things happen under the covers that should not be happening. There are a lot the things that an MI program can do without the users permission. As far as I am concerned, security is a mute point when companies are allowed to munipulate the state of a program without IBM's permission. Peter H. O'Connor PAE Inc. 7 Riverway Rd.
